I want to take a quick break from my Nismo Festival coverage to post up a some more snapshots of interesting cars I've spotted over the past couple weeks. First off, we have this cool two-tone kei van I saw in the parking lot at Tsukuba Circuit. I didn't get a look at the front, but I'm guessing it has the popular VW bus conversion on it. I think something like this would be the perfect daily driver around here.

In contrast to the kei van is this Porsche Carrera I saw here in Tsukuba City the other day. The car appeared stock besides the giant rear spoiler, but still looked mean as it was cruising through traffic.

Went for a drive near Hakone last weekend and saw this beautiful Aston Martin DB4 (?) heading out for a drive on one of the area's scenic mountain roads. Talk about something to aspire to…

This wide-body CE1 Honda Accord Wagon resides at an apartment building near my place. The car is a little too wild for my tastes, but an interesting find nonetheless. Seeing this car gets me all nostalgic about the Accord Wagon I drove before I came to Japan last year.

A couple weeks ago I was driving down the road when a set of HID headlights came up quickly from behind. Turns out they belonged to this cool DR30 Skyline RS Turbo and I was able to take a quick snapshot while sitting behind it at a traffic light. If you look closely you can see the roll cage inside, which hints at this the car's specs. I tried to get catch up with him to get a better photo, but my 86 horsepower Honda Fit was no match for the quick-driving DR30.

And in closing, we have this Z31 Fairlady that was parked in the hotel garage on the morning of the Nismo Festival. Obviously it belonged to one of the many Nissan enthusiasts who brought their prized machines along for the trip to Fuji Speedway…
