SEAT continued their winning ways with two more wins, but BMW were much closer, much to the delight of the German Manufacture and their drivers.

The second race of the day saw another SEAT win, with BMW in hot pursuit. This time, 2008 Champion, Yvan Muller would take the spoils from 2006,7 Champion, Andy Priaulx. Priaulx remained on Muller's rear bumper for the second half of the race.

Priaulx was delighted by the second place "We never thought it was possible to achieve two podiums in Mexico".

Muller and Rydell head the drivers championship with Farfus in 3rd. In the constructiorsm championship, SEAT lead BMW and Chevrolet. We now have a long break before the next WTCC in Marrakech on the 3rd May.
