One of the most striking aspects of the Silverstone racetrack are the clouds.

Throughout the course of a day, the clouds could be draw droppingly beautiful
whilst being fluffy and airy — almost cotton candy like.

Then in a few hours time, the clouds could move in, cover the track completely and look dreadfully heavy,
brooding, and rather depressing. The photo above is one of the Aston Martins locking up the front brakes and just covering the Ford GT in tire smoke. Brilliant racing this is –just brilliant.

Rolling green hills, picturesque clouds, fair blue skies, Silverstone's famous Hangar straight and a Ferrari F430 race car. You really can't complain when you have these things in your field of vision, can you?

So, head on over to the desktops section to experience your own bit of Silverstone's weather. Which, by the way, never really can make up its mind. But who's complaining? It makes for some amazing visuals.
