Tomorrow is race day at Pike's Peak. The consensus with the people I've talked to is that the ten minute mark will be broken, but it will just be a matter of who…. as long as the weather holds out, of course. Here are a few desktop wallpapers for you guys as we start gearing up for race day tomorrow.
Here's Jeff Zwart, from Thursday's practice session, at the paddock at the bottom of the course. He's looking to take the time attack class record and win tomorrow.
David and Allison Kern are on their second engine with their NOS/AMS Mitsubishi Evo. They're running a stock Evo motor, the same motor they ran in 2008 when they took the time attack class record.
Of course, everyone eyes are on this man. Monster Tajima is the favored pick in the unlimited class to break the 10 minute barrier. But racing is racing, and the weather is just as unpredictable as the drama of racing itself! We're excited the day's drama unfold.
