Smoky has been a busy man! This is the recently completed Top Secret R35 GT-R, wearing the new 2012 GT-R inspired front bumper and the signature gold color everyone knows and loves. The car made its first appearance at the 2010 R's Meeting this past weekend in Fuji Speedway, hinting that Top Secret has gotten serious about the R35.

It's taken a few years but finally there are more and more tuning parts coming out for the VR38DETT…

…so a lot of people are assuming that the choice to paint the previously dark silver demo car gold, means it's time for Smoky to go crazy once again!

The new front bumper sports a pair of integrated canards like the ones that will soon grace the front of the 2012 GT-R, minus the LED driving lights.

The new front grille sports three openings to help channel more air towards the twin intercoolers. Notice the lightweight titanium tow hook.

Top Secret has kept pricing very competitive, even their new carbon fiber hood (wet, not dry) comes in at around $2,000.

The engine has been fitted with a pair of re-engineered stock IHI turbines which are modified and ported to flow more air and fitted with a 22% bigger turbine wheel. The built in wastegates are also enlarged and controlled by fast-acting GReddy actuators. At 1.25 kgf of boost the motor manages to develop 700 HP with a massive 651 lb/ft punch of torque at 4,000 rpm.

Titanium piping isn't cheap at $2,600!

It's good seeing the GT-R badge on a gold Top Secret car again!

I really hope we will be seeing this car out in action at the Tsukuba Super Battle in December, it's about time these big R35s showed us what they are made of!
