I'm sure most of the Speedhunters in our little team here would say they've made some fantastic new friends as a result of our automotive adventures. I for one just love chatting it up with fellow car fans about our shared favourite subject.

Going to car events in many ways is like coming home to a second family of like minded individuals. We are all part of an increasingly interconnected automotive community.

So we thought, for September, it would be interesting to chat with a few of the people we've gotten to know in our travels across the globe.

Welcome to Interview Month! This will be a more lightly themed four weeks, with a sprinkling of talks over the course of the month.

In terms of event coverage, next weekend was a bit of a dilemma for us.

You see, the yearly JCCS event has moved up to be is the same weekend as Formula D Sonoma.

This means we've had to change up our plans. Mike Garrett will stay in LA to cover JCCS while Linhbergh and I will be
joined by the man with the mega-lens: Larry Chen to cover off the next round of FD action.

Mike Garrett will then drive up to Nor Cal to shoot Billetproof, one of the more influential hot rod meets on the planet.

I'll be watching this coverage with great interest…

That is, if I have time. I'll be in Portugal that weekend with Jonathan and Linhbergh shooting the FIA GT1 and GT3 machines at Algrave so may be too busy to check in on Mike and his hot rod photography.

This is going to be my last visit to a GT race this year so I'll be making sure to soak up the atmosphere as much as possible.

We'll also be covering off the Goodwood Revival that same weekend…

And will end the month live from Road Atlanta with coverage of Petit Le Mans 2010.

I'm sure John Brooks is hoping for better weather than last year!

Of course I'm only listing a fraction of the stories that will be showcased on Speedhunters this month.

As always there is a big queue of stories, features and reports in the works.

But you'll just need to keep coming back every single day to find out now won't you.

I'll end this editorial post with a question: who do you want us to interview and what questions to ask?
