Let's jump right into the second part of my look at Mitsubishi Owner's Day 2011. This black Evo X dropped on orange TEs is fine way to kick off the conclusion of my coverage.

A stunningly clean second generation Eagle Talon. There were quite a few "questionable" Eclipses and Talons at the show, but this one was spot-on.

I was pleasantly surprised at the number of high quality Starions and Conquests at MOD. It's awesome to see people preserving these classics.

Bet you haven't see an Evo in this color before. At least rock chips shouldn't be a worry…

Another wingless Evolution parked in the grass lot amongst dozens of over Mitsubishis. Well done.

With all of the modified Evos around, the meet was a buffet of high end tuning parts.

Advan RS-Ds with super sticky Toyo rubber. Yum.

Looking for some bling for the engine bay? Look no further than an ARC induction box.

BBS LMs. I am not worthy…

This hopped-up Outlander Sport was also part of the Mitsubishi corporate selection. Not too bad for a little SUV.

One more clean example of the early 3000GT VR-4.

This Galant VR-4 was one of my favorite cars of the day.

Thanks in large part to the period correct Advan Rally Trial wheels.

Because you can never have too many tastefully done Evo Xs.

Is this the first customized iMiEV in the United States? Looks like it would be a cool little car for getting around town.

Mitsubishi really covered all the bases for ths event. There was an even a special area to take your dog.

Gotta dig the ultra sleek wind tunnel-tested profile of the Mitsubishi Van.

Four-door version of the Mirage. It definitely stood out in a sea of Evos.

One more X, tuned by our friends over at Evasive Motorsports.

Hope you enjoyed my coverage of Mitsubishi Owner's Day 2011. Even though rumors of the Evo's demise have been swirling, we can only hope that Mitsubishi will see the passion that people have for this car and think twice before killing it off.
