While the guys are assembled in Sydney to bring you guys coverage of the massive WTAC event, I wanted to go ahead and wrap up my own track day coverage here other side of the planet. Here's part three of my look at the Speed Ventures Buttonwillow track meet.

This E46 M3 looked ready for business with ultra-sticky rubber mounted on to its factory rims.

Another NA-chassis Miata doing what they do best – making the driver smile.

Hardtopped AP2 S2000 taking a little break from the action. One of at least a dozen cars sporting the classic RPF1.

A beautiful black E36 M3 brakes hard into the Sunset Corner before its run down the front straight.

Just in case you were wondering, yes this FD3S was rotary powered.

How about some love for the NC chassis Mazda MX-5?

Another E46 M3 looking just about perfect.

Flying brick!

A weekend warrior doing some work on his Mustang. Such a patriotic scene.

Speaking of Mustangs, check out this Fox Body LX. Still at the top of the list when it comes to bang for the buck.

A little carbon, a little steel. All good.

V35 Coupe at speed through the esses.

The coloring on this E30 race car reminded me of the DR30 Skyline RS.

Big body Audi navigating the Sunset Corner in style.

A very nice JDM-inspired take on the Civic Si Coupe.

Action shot of the BMW 2002 seen in yesterday's post.

The MA70 Supra isn't a car that you see too often at the track. This one was wearing Hawaii plates.

Well, that just about does it for my visit to the Speed Ventures track day. Hope you enjoyed.

I'm thinking about getting out to open track days like this more often. Let me know if guys want to see more of this sort of thing.
