Speedhunters reader Serge Anisonyan sent through photos of his Toyota MR2. Once a non-turbo SW20, Serge has transformed it into a pretty neat streeter.

Now fitted behind the cabin is a 3S-GTE turbo motor, along with a Walbro 255 fuel pump, 3-inch down pipe and an A'PEXI AVC-R to control boost.

Through the rear window you'll be able to spot the Autopower roll cage and the backs of the Recaro SR3 seats which have been retrimmed in brown suede. The exterior, which is certainly clean by most people's standards, features quite a few additions. There's the Kaminari front lip, Bomex whale tail wing, Border side skirts and rear pods. You'll also spot 94+ taillights and a custom rear diffuser. The antenna and side mouldings were shaved before the MR2's body was given a lick of macadamia metallic paint with a hint of blue flake.

Along with the motor, Serge sourced the brakes from a 93+ turbo model to fit to his MR2. Serge has also installed a set of A'PEXi N1 Circuit Evolution coilovers which have been further modified. As you can see here, Serge has opted to run staggered diameters of SBC-finished SSR Professor SP1 rims. The fronts measure 17×9.5-inch, while the rears are 18×10.5 (-5 offset).
Nice work Sergey!
