This past weekend was quite the Speedhunting weekend. One day, I'm in Long Beach, at the Queen Mary, for the Japanese Classic Car Show, and the next day, I'm out in the middle of the high Californian desert witnessing land speed racing on a dry lake bed.
If there's one things that stuck out the most this weekend, it was this white Datsun 240Z which was found at the Motul booth at JCCS. Why? Because it's looks insanely mean and beefy. In other words, it has proper stance –but not in its present day definition. But instead the age-old meaning: when a car just looks and feels right without having a really low ride height.
This car with its, British made, Superlite wheels and the fender flares filled to the brim with Toyo R888s is a look I can definitely get behind.
