Two days is mere minutes in SEMA time. There's so much to do and so much to see in the three giant convention halls and an outside parking lot. As I made my way around the SEMA show floor in fast forward, I saw fleeting glimpses of cars. So when a car at SEMA does catch my eye, it means that it is something rather special. Take this 2010 Mercedes E350 for example. It's a car that was floating in a sea of other automobiles trying their hardest to stand out, be different and noticed. But by keeping things simple and practicing a bit of restraint, this E350 stood out from the rest pack.

The car has been fully kitted out by Carlsson. This includes the front bumper with its integrated LED daytime running lights, carbon fiber front lip…

…side skirts, rear diffuser and the trunk spoiler. The roof was also painted black and accented by a roof spoiler from Lorinser.

The owner could've went completely crazy with the wheel choice and wheel fitment, but restraint seemed to be the name of the game when the BBS LM's were chosen. The LMs were rebarreled by Memory Fab and are 18" faces with 19" step leps and barrels. The fronts are 19×8.5" wrapped with Hankook Ventus V12s in 215/35/19s and the rears are 19×10.5 with a 245/35/19 tire.

This more-than-decent drop was made possible by an AirREX suspension system.

There are times when being different is a good thing. But in the case of this Mercedes E350, keeping it classy paid off even more.
