For the next voting category in the 2012 Speedhunters Awards, we have Show Demo Car of the Year. This category is for cars that wowed at big shows like SEMA and Tokyo Auto Salon as well as those machines owned and built by shops, brands or tuning companies to show the world what they are capable of. From wild supercars and revamped classics to traditional Japanese tuner cars, the choice won’t be easy
Take a look through the nominees and make your vote below.
LB Works Murcielago
Love it or hate it, the LB Works Murcielago was one of the most talked about cars at the 2012 SEMA Show and Sean’s subsequent full feature on it brought about a huge response.

Bee Dragon Crown Athlete
Bringing some wild VIP attitude to the list is the Bee Dragon Toyota Crown Athlete and its over the top styling.

Supermade Silvia
Rolling on its unique 15″ wheel and tire combination, the Supermade S15 makes for a fresh take on the ultra-popular Nissan S-chassis.

Supermade Aristo
Like the Silvia, Supermade also gave us a rather unique Toyota Aristo with a nice mix of both VIP and drift car elements.

The RTR Spec 3 Mustang
Seen at SEMA, the latest in the RTR line takes the modern Mustang and injects with it hint of retro style with its over fenders and HRE mesh wheels.

Rocket Bunny FR-S
The Rocket Bunny FR-S doesn’t need much introduction. It’s simply one of the most popular feature cars of the year and a symbol of Kei Miura’s global domination in 2012.

Pro Stock Racing R32 GT-R
For the classic JDM Time Attack machine, look no further than Pro Stock Racing’s R32 Skyline GT-R.

The Mach 40
What do you get when you mix a modern Ford GT with vintage Mach 1 Mustang? You get Eckert’s Rod and Custom’s Mach 40, another star from the 2012 SEMA Show.

Creations ‘n Chrome Fox Body Mustang
Another highlight from SEMA is the mental Fox Body Mustang project from Creations ‘n Chrome. It’s by far one of the most extreme versions of the popular Fox Mustang platform we’ve ever seen.

ForPly Plymouth
Rounding out the selection of SEMA cars, we have the ’64 Plymouth with the guts of a modern NASCAR known as “ForPly”.

Liberty Walk F40
If the LB Murcielago was a bit too much for you, perhaps the slightly more restrained Liberty Walk Ferrari F40 is more up your alley?

Creations ‘n Chrome Boy Racer Mustang
In addition to the Fox Body seen at SEMA, Creations ‘n Chrome also brings us the fittingly-maned Boy Racer Mustang with its aggressive style and supercharged powerplant.

BenSopra GT-R
With a rear wheel drive conversion and its trademark aero kit, the BenSopra GT-R will go down as another one of the unforgettable cars of 2012.

AVO BRZ
The combination of the Subaru BRZ and a bit of forced induction proves to work quite well, as demonstrated by AVO’s BRZ demo car.

ARMS S15 Silvia
Lastly, we have the ARMS S15 Silvia as another example of just what the venerable S-chassis can be capable of in terms of circuit performance.
