February has arrived and with it, a new #IAMTHESPEEDHUNTER theme for you to go out there and get dirty with. From here on in, we’re going to give you a new theme at the start of the month and publish the results at the end of the same month, just so you have plenty of time to get out there and shoot.
(Above) Warsteiner BMW M1 Pro-Car - Canon EOS 5D MKII, 35mm, 1/10th, f/20

Schubert Motorsport BMW Z4 GT3 - Canon EOS 5D MKII, 40mm, 1/20th, f/10
As you can tell from the title, this month’s theme is all about dropping your shutter speed into unchartered territories. We’re not talking about regular panning shots but something a lot of people shy away from.

Jagermeister BMW E30 M3 - Canon EOS 5D MKII, 35mm, 1/25th, f/1.6
When you drop your shutter speed to levels where nine out of ten images are unusable, you enter a world where that tenth image becomes something special.

Audi S3 - Canon EOS 5D MKIII, 17mm, 8 secs, f/8
It doesn’t have to involve panning or action either, feel free to interpret the theme in whatever you want. Set your cameras to shutter priority and get slow.
To contribute, e-mail your submissions to iamthespeedhunter@dev.speedhunters.com with the subject line ‘IATS – The Slow Shutter Theme’ along with your name and some details about the car or event.
