There seems to be a lot more positive energy around the WRC these days – perhaps it’s down to the immediate success of the new Volkswagen Motorsport Polo WRC or with the semi-retirement of Loeb which throws open the title race for the first time in nearly a decade. In fact there have only been six different world rally champions since 1995 (McRae, Makinen (4), Gronholm (2), Burns, Solberg & Loeb (9)). We’re only two rounds into the 2013 championship and it’s already showing why it’s one of the toughest championships on earth. This video comes from Passats de canto and presents a special view of the event with no commentary or music. You can view the official highlights as they become available on WRC.com
