It’s hard not to be excited about the prospect of the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge, as it essentially packs much of the Nissan GT-R’s performance into a four-door wrapper. Officially speaking, Infiniti has not announced that the car will go into production, but given the positive reaction to the concept I’d say that it’s probably very likely. Not only that, but Nissan’s luxury arm has continued to develop the car and has decided to keep us updated along the way.

Testing of the prototype has been happening at the Millbrook Proving Ground in the UK, with none other than F1 champ – I mean, Infiniti Director of Performance – Sebastian Vettel behind the wheel. If it’s still simply a design study, I highly doubt we’d be seeing this, so I guess we can count on having a 560hp/600Nm, twin turbocharged Infiniti in showrooms sometime in the future.

Now the only question is, GT-R or Q50 Eau Rouge?
