We’re not too far away from kicking off a brand new week of Speedhunting, which means it’s time to take a quick look back at some of the videos that we’ve enjoyed watching over the past week…

First off, it’s a very cool video tribute to the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, which shows assembly of the Final Edition models. From bare panels being robotically stitched together, to the 4B11 engine-building process, to delivery and the finished product on a showroom floor – it’s a mesmerising watch.

From a performance model that’s come to the end of its production run to one that’s just about to enter a new chapter, we have Ford’s first Focus RS: Rebirth of an Icon episode. The behind-the-scenes web series promises to give a candid look at the development and production of the newest Ford to wear the RS badge, and helping kick things off is Ken Block, who got behind the wheel of an early prototype car at the automaker’s test facility in Dearborn, Michigan.

Next up it’s a new clip from our friends at EKS RX, and this one’s more than a little bit special. It’s often said that Supercar-class FIA World Rallycross Championship machines are the modern-day equivalents of the iconic Group B monsters from the mid ’80s, so who better to test that theory than one of the legends from the wildest era of rallying, Stig Blomqvist. While the real Stig got to sample EKS’s Audi S1 EKS RX quattro, team founder Mattias Ekström managed to find himself behind the wheel of a Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 for this very cool short film.

When it comes to video features on cool cars, Petrolicious never disappoints, and this week we’ve got another beauty to share with you. The subject is a tastefully modified BMW 2002 built in similar spirit to the example we just featured over the weekend. A vision of car designer Radu Muntean, the BMW has been engineered to drive with originality taking a backseat to functionality, but in our mind it strikes a really nice balance between the two schools of thought.

Finally, we have something a little bit crazy from Scandinavia (no surprises there!) – namely a 1956 Volvo BM Terrier tractor retrofitted with a 225hp turbo motor. Enough said – just watch!

If you’ve seen another cool video over the last week, don’t forget to share it with us in the comments section below…
