With a new week of Speedhunting ready to kick off, it’s time again to take a quick look at some of our favorite videos from around the net that came to our attention over the past week.
Let’s kick things off with a follow-up to BJ Baldwin’s recent Recoil 3 viral video…
This new clip from Hoonigan, titled BJ Baldwin’s Recoil 3-SIXTY, puts a fresh perspective on the original. Using 360-degree camera technology, the control is in your hands as BJ rips up Tacoma, Washington, in his 800hp Trophy Truck. Anyone who watches Fast N’ Loud on Discovery Channel will no doubt be familiar with KC Mathieu of KC’s Paint Shop. In this video from the man himself, KC runs a morning errand in ‘Frankenstein’ – a 1968 Ford F100 pickup truck packing a Ford Racing 5.0L Aluminator engine that pushes 700hp to the rear wheels. Traction is an issue…
Under Suzuki is the undisputed king of time attack at Tsukuba Circuit in Japan having run a best lap of 51.127 in his Scorch Racing Nissan Silvia S15, but now there’s another 51-second car on the scene. Last weekend, Nobuteru ‘NOB’ Taniguchi piloted the Top Fuel Honda S2000 to a new PB record lap time of 51.762, making it a serious future contender for the title. Check out the in-car clip above.
Finally this week we’ve got The Green Hornet: The Joy Of Driving, My Heart & Soul, A 240Z. The title pretty much says it all, but there’s a lot more to this classic Z-machine than first meets the eye…
As always, if you’ve watched a cool video this week, we welcome you to share it in the comments section below!
