Florida might be known as the Sunshine State, but I can’t remember an event that I’ve been to down here where it has not rained. I just checked my phone before writing this, and it seems that rain is in the forecast for the third round of the Formula Drift Championship at Orlando Speed World this Friday and Saturday. Hopefully it will either pour or stay completely dry; none of that in between stuff.
Last year in Orlando, we did not get to see a final battle due to Chris Forsberg not being able to start his car after he was told to pull his fire suppression system; although the big fireball that came out from underneath his car just turned out to be a huge backfire. It would be nice if that did not happen again, because not being able to watch a final battle is the worst way to end a drift event. Wouldn’t you guys agree? Stay tuned for more updates from Florida…
