With a new week of Speedhunting ready to kick off, it’s time to take a quick look at some of our favorite videos from the past seven days.

Let’s kick things off with a new automotive Guinness World Records distance record…

A couple of weeks back we shared a behind-the-scenes clip of Bryce Menzies’ preparations for a record-setting jump in his off-road truck. Well, this past weekend all that ground work was put to the ultimate test when Menzies pointed his Pro 2 machine towards a ramp built in a New Mexico ghost town and let rip. The result? A 379.4ft-long flight and a new world record to boot.

In last week’s Sunday Round Up we took an in-car look at a 13J-powered 1991 RX-7 IMSA GTO being driven in practice at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Today, we’ve got some more 4-rotor goodness for you, but this time it’s Robert Davis piloting the #002 Mazda 787 Group C car, complete with 720hp worth of naturally aspirated R26B rotary engine.

From a jump distance record to a speed record, but in a rig of a very different kind. The Iron Knight was custom built to take the title of the ‘World’s Fastest Truck’, and that’s exactly what the 2400hp/6000Nm beast officially became at a test track in northern Sweden recently.

Finally this week, it’s a new clip from Petrolicious featuring a Fiat 850 Sport and the story of how its owner, Loïc Maschi, saw through a rebuild that was more of an adventure than a straight restoration.

That’s all for now, but if you’ve caught a cool video in the last week, go ahead and share it in the comments section below.
