A new week of Speedhunting is about to kick off, but before that happens, it’s time to take a quick look at some of the videos we’ve been watching over the past seven days.
First up, it’s a new clip from Mazda featuring the 1991 RX-7 IMSA GTO ahead of the weekend’s Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion race…
Captured from inside the iconic four-rotor rotary race car during Friday practice, watch as Jeremy Barnes puts the 640hp 13J-powered machine through its paces. You’ll probably want to crank up the volume for this one!
Next up, it’s a new short film from Petrolicious, titled Perfectly Packaged. That’s a very good way to describe the Lancia Delta Integrale Evolution II too, as this rally-bred hatchback packed some pretty cool performance tech for its early ’90s era. But not only is Bryan Calvero’s ’94 Evo II an extremely rare sight Stateside, it’s also an absolutely beautiful example.
We’ve seen many videos of Ford Performance at the 2016 Le Mans race, but nothing quite like the Ford GT: 360 Experience. Where as most 360-degree clips only provide one camera position, this 8-minute production features a bunch of them, all capturing different points of the race.
Finally this week, we have the official FittedUK 2016 event clip from I Love Bass. If the location for UK’s largest indoor modified car show wasn’t cool enough, some pretty amazing builds made it out to Manchester for this year’s event, and many of them are captured here in glorious 4K.
That’s all for now, but as always, if you’ve watched a cool automotive-related video this week, don’t forget to share it with us in the comments section below.
