We’re about to welcome in another new week of Speedhunting, but before we get into that, it’s time to take a quick look at some of the videos we’ve been checking out over the past seven days.

Let’s kick things off with a new video from Porsche featuring a very special 356…

For the past 40+ years, Guy Newmark has been driving his Porsche 356 on a daily basis, racking up the miles in the process. Recently, the car named ‘Blu’ and its owner reached the momentous milestone of 1,000,000 miles, and the cameras were rolling as the odometer clicked back over to all zeros. For a little more on the backstory of this amazing car, you can check out a Petrolicious video from 2013 here.

Next up, it’s Speedhunters’ friend Fredrik Sørlie driving a fast lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife, but not from behind the wheel of his Toyota Cressida. This time it’s an Acura NSX, with multiple in-car cameras along for the ride.

Our final two videos this week have something in common: the GT-R drag racing world record. The race for 0-400m GT-R supremacy has really heated up over the past year or so, and the two teams at the top are constantly raising the bar by lowering their ETs. Last week, Bahrain’s EKanoo Racing released this clip of its T1 R35 setting a new GT-R record of 7.16 at 209mph (336km/h), a new personal best 60-foot time of 1.208-seconds achieved in the process.

But, that’s since been eclipsed by Gidi Chamdi’s AMS Performance Alpha G R35, which at Milan Dragway in Michigan last week recorded a 7.14 at 212mph (341km/h) pass to snatch the title back. It really begs the question: how soon before we see a 6-second pass from one of these cars?

That’s all for now, but as always, if you’ve caught a cool car related video in the last week, go ahead and share it in the comments section below.
