2007 Formula 1 World Champion Kimi Raikkonen was behind the wheel of an F1 car for the first time since 2009. However due to testing restrictions, the Finn, who has signed for the Lotus F1 Team, was only allowed to drive a two year old, reliveried Renault R30.
The Iceman’s return means there will be six F1 World Champions on this year’s grid – a quarter of the field. Raikkonen was dropped by Ferrari for the 2010 season to make way for Fernando Alonso, and has spent the past couple of years dabbling in WRC and NASCAR.
